"Centre 7" Room Bookings


Centre 7 is our purpose built, multi-use building that provides a safe venue for family contact between children and families. The venue also povides a base for our 'own out of school' support service, along with our other services and for our business support.

  In addition, rooms at Centre 7 can be booked by other organisations for supervised contact,  meetings and interviews. Our Centre is registered with the National Association of Child Contact Centres and achieved it's enchanced accreditation in 2014.

FACILITIES


Centre 7 has four rooms for hire during office hours, though bookings will be considered outside of these times such as evenings and weekends.


Three of the four rooms available have access to tea and coffee making facilities. 


All rooms are situated on the ground floor and have disabled access. There is free car parking on site for up to 16 vehicles and currently, there is unrestricted parking on Melbourne Avenue. 

 

Buffet type catering can be arranged at an extra cost from a choice of menu and is provided by outside caterers. Further information will be provided on request.   


All contact rooms are accessible from the internal lobby, offering a comfortable seating area, toys, books and games for use. Disabled toilets and baby changing area are all accessible from the lobby.




Contact Room 1 (Maximum 8 people)


This room is often booked in conjunction with the Conservatory for larger family groups/activities and older children.


Tea/coffee making, fridge, microwave and limited cooking facilities. TV and DVD player available on request.


Access to the conservatory and garden, appropriate aged toys and games – see below.


Contact Room 2 (Maximum 4 people)


Informal: 1 tub chair, baby high chair, ideal for children and babies under the age of 5.


Appropriate aged toys/games. TV/DVD available. Tea/coffee making facilities and microwave.


Contact Room 3 (Maximum 4 people)


Informal:  Sofa and 1 tub chair - ideal for children of all ages or a small meeting.


Access to the enclosed patio/garden.


Appropriate aged toys and games, TV/DVD and CD player/radio available.


Tea/coffee making facilities and microwave.



Conservatory (Maximum 8 people)


Note – if booking this room on its own, there are no refreshment making facilities available.  This room is often used in conjuction with a smaller room although refreshments can be provided upon request.


Informal: Large table and chairs. Resources to suit all ages of children, including art/crafts etc. Washable floor.  Access to the enclosed patio/garden.


Formal: The table can be increased to seat 8 people comfortably in a board room style for more formal occasions.  Refreshments can be made available upon request.

Room Hire Charges:


£15 + VAT per room/per hour including all use of facilities, including tea and coffee. Fees negotiable for young people’s groups booking one or more rooms. 


Room cancellations received less than 2 working days before due meeting date will be charged in full.  Cancellation of catering will be charged in accordance with the outside caterer’s cancellation policy. 


Please note: BDP Social Care Ltd do not accept liability for any damage to vehicles or personal property whilst visiting the site. Those booking the Centre are responsible for ensuring that users in their party act responsibly and safely, and that the Centre is left in a clean and tidy condition.
